It’s sad to say there is no single best Chinese bakery in town. Don’t even bother to try the DC Chinatown. A couple of bakeries in the suburb are quite good but there is no clear cut winner. Here are two bakeries that’s worth mentioning: Bakery Corner and Asian Bakery Cafe, both located in Rockville, MD. For example, Bread Corner is great with some of their breads, but they are terrible with the Dan Tart (Egg Tart). However, Asian Bakery is better with their Dan Tart (always served warm with a flaky tart crust) and savory buns.
