We spent 3 days in Chamonix back in 2007. It was part of a multi destinations Great Alpine Traverse adventure. Unfortunately, the Chamonix part got rained out and we never saw Mont Blanc and the magnificent vista in this region. So we are back this time with the plan to explore this area and sample the great French Savoie cuisine for 10 whole days.
